This weekend I will start my week-long journey to Palmer Station. This time I will be there for 6 months. I will arrive while the area around station is still covered mostly by snow, and I will be leaving again when the snows return. I hope you will join me on my research adventure!

Have a save Journey and enjoy your new adventure. Say hi to the pinguïns and all other special creatures and plants. What is the research topic this time? A deeper research of the former?

Hi Natasja! I work with Doug Hensley, who is working on your story. My question is - would you permit me to use a few of these pictures of you in Antarctica for the web story? I can link back to your site, or at least credit you for the photos.

I've published the few I took from your site. But I'd love to add others, if you have any you'd like to add. Feel free to email them to [email protected] at your convenience.

What an exciting adventure in science, ice, ocean travel and field living! I’m at once envious and happy I’m not seasick :)
